Description
The light of a setting sun still shines bright, radiating from the sky and reflecting across the waters, displaying the stunning colors tuned by our atmosphere.
Hard crashing waves are painted like silk, flowing over and around the rocks. Rocks that have been carved out by the ocean longer than man’s presence. Strong enough to cut and polish these rocks, the impactful ocean has nourished life at the exact same time. The lovely green algae thrives on the rock, ready for high tide. Resilient and magnificent, algae is a very crucial part of our ocean’s ecosystem and aesthetically it balances the rich dark tones of the rock so well.
The ocean is blue because of the sky reflected in the ocean; this affect creates a wonderful soft symmetry between the sky and the sea. This symmetry gives the image a large sense of the openness of earth. The immense impact of it all portrays a desiring pursuit for freedom that gives invigoration to the love of life.
The image above, and the two images below are representative of the curation process for an AFA original. The image below has been modified to match the darker tones of the room. A change in the displacement of light across the image allows for the darker tones to come out in a more pronounced and richer print for the room it’s in.
The image below has been resized to fit the physical space in a more full manner.
Re-proportioned to keep the natural feeling present, Pacific Light as a square fills the space more completely and allows for a larger emphasis of the closer details within the image.
While the original aesthetic is the original for a reason, modifications as such can be made to fulfill the desires of your space.
