The main printing method is referred to as “Sublimation Dye on Aluminum” – essentially, the print on metal.
Why?
Well, it’s the most durable, longest lasting, and most vibrant form of printing. It will stand the test of time with you better than any other print.
If you prefer something more traditional, we can do paper and canvas prints as well to give you a rich, classic feel.
There are numerous options for both mediums. If you would like to request something in another form of print besides Sublimated Aluminum, please use the contact form to personally get in touch. From here, we will find the best medium for your needs and help simplify the plethora of options.
What Makes This Printing Process So Special?
It’s a phenomenally interesting process that ensures a vibrant image for life. For each pixel that needs to be ‘printed’, there is pigment of colour coordinated to that pixel. The colour is created in solid form through physical pigment, a printing gun pressurizes the pigment into a gas, then the high pressure gun shoots it against the aluminum. When the gas hits the aluminum under high pressure it turns back into a solid under the surface.
This prints the pixel to the aluminum. Do this 300 times per square inch, for a 6 foot wide photo, and you get incredible depth that brings a different dimension to any space.
